HELP! Deleted word on my mac as it was so slow, went to download again and says I dont have it, What have I paid 59.99 for years?


Problem is I have several accounts for microsoft to do with different work postings. The receipt from paypal for 59.99 is sent to my hotmail address but there doesnt seem to be a product listed as bought. So what have I been paying 59.99 for then for the last few years?

It is not keeping same fonts in both versions, but you see the equations, line spacing, etc., are changed and the file in Mac looks stupid.

I will try to attach photos of both later.

Another problem, in Word windows , you can choose

Options, Advanced, Show document content, Numeral: Arabic, Hindi, Context, System

These steps are missing in Word Mac

In the past year or so I've noticed another quirk where a downloaded Word document or other Office document won't open regardless of the steps I take to open them. After deleting the file and re-downloading the document it opens without issue. I've been using Chrome almost exclusively so I'm not sure if I've experienced this with Explorer or Firefox. So one last step to try might be to obtain another copy of your files if they are being generated and fetched externally to your system (ie. try downloading them again as the file might have simply been corrupted).
