Windows 10: Help diagnosing Windows 11 freeze/BSOD when idle

Hi,My Windows 11 computer has started crashing when left idle, with increasing frequency.This manifests as either a freeze completely unresponsive, hard restart, or BSOD.BSODs I've seen are "DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION" and "CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT"I'm running:Ryzen 5900xGigabyte Aorus b550 pro v2Radeon x570Windows 11 Pro 22631Things I've tried so far:sfc /scannowOffline virus scanLatest drivers for everythingWindows memory diagnosticSafe mode with networking still happensHere are my last three minidumps:minidumpAny help would be appreciated.

Windows 11 - no bsod however it freezes - help to diagnose

im reading this however the issue is it freezes and doesn't bsod so I don't get a dump file.

Other methods to collect data

Use memory dump to collect data for the physical computer that's running in a frozen state"If the physical computer is still running in a frozen state, follow these steps to enable and collect memory dump:

1. Make sure that the computer is set up to get a complete memory dump file and that you can access it through the network."
   

does this bit mean I can create a memory dump by pressing the control key?

 

Random freezes or BSODs (In windows drivers)

Basically you need to go back to the step described in my post #121

As the freeze happens when you leave the system idle for a while it is most likely a driver associated with a background process that starts up when the system is idle for while. You might be able to search the event information logs to check which services started around the exact time of the freeze.

 

Windows 11 freezing crashing only when idle. Please help!

My PC is constantly and at random, freezing/crashing only when idle. The screen and PC are all still on but everything is frozen. Mouse doesn't move, can't access anything, no keys work, nothing. No warnings, no BSOD, nothing. While I am using my PC I have no problems but once it is idle, it freezes/crashes at any random time (can be minutes or after many hours). I have to do a hard shutdown. Everything has been working fine until this last week. I haven't installed any new software or hardware, just performed routine updates on existing software & drivers. My PC is only 7 months old.

I have tried numerous things to try to fix this including:

• Updated windows 11, all drivers, bios, any other software updates
  
• Changed screen resolution, aspect
  
• Tried different power options, changed/tweaked options, set sleep/hibernate etc to never
  
• Tried different troubleshooters
  
• Ran memory diagnostic with no issues
  
• Scanned with sfc and DISM with no problems
  
• Reset PC keeping my files but still freezes
  
• Tried clean boot disabling all but still freezes
  
• Tried normal, selective, diagnostic startup but still freezes
  
• Plus probably a few other things I can't remember
