Windows 10: Help downloading Windows 11 on a Mac to be transferred to a PC we are building

I am trying to download Windows 11 on my Mac to transfer with a USB key to a PC we are building. It is not working. It downloaded, we transferred it over to a USB and attempted to install and no such luck. I'm not sure if it downloaded correctly, because it stopped in the middle and I had to resume. And it was supposed to come with a mediacreationtool which it did but not sure if that downloaded correctly and not sure what to do with that. Any help would be much appreciated since you can't speak to a human at Microsoft for help.

Windows 10 for PC build using Mac to download

My son and I are building a gaming PC. I used my Mac laptop to download Windows 10 Pro, which went fine. Now I'm trying to transfer the files to a brand new, empty 128 MB flash drive that we can plug into the new PC to install. However, I cannot get the
downloaded files onto my flash drive. When I drag the files onto the brand new, empty 128 MB flash drive, it says: The item “Win10_2004_English_x64.iso” can’t be copied because it is too large for the volume’s format.

Was this a smart way to get Windows onto our gaming PC? Is there another way? Any advice on how to transfer those pesky files?

Trying to download windows on a mac to transfer to a flash drive

Looking for some help. My son's Ibuypower computer is having issues and during a chat, with them, they sent me a link to download windows again and a link to a youtube video explaining how to do that. The issue is that the only working computers in the house are Macs. I downloaded it and can transfer it to the flash drive but according to the video it has you open it and choose the version to install it on to a flash drive to install on another computer. My issue is that I am obviously using a mac so I can not open it to do that step. Any help would be greatly appreciated

 

Help with OS Transfer on a new build

Need some help figuring out what I need to do for a fresh build tomorrow. I will be moving off of my old CPU and mobo to a new X99 system. Right now I have my OS on a Sata SSD and want to transfer it onto a new NVME drive.

Some issues:

• I have a windows 10 upgrade from a RETAIL windows 7 license so I should have migration rights correct?
• I have 3 other non-OS drives so after I do the install with my old/ current Microsoft account will my fresh install of windows recognise those drives?

If you guys could shed some light on how to do this or advice please lend a hand. thanks!
