    My grandson has an HP laptop with a broken screen. I bought a monitor for it and it was working fine. Now he has forgotten his password and he no longer has access to his gmail account that it was set up with so we can't have one sent to him. I had some tech guys working on it but they wanted over $100 to do it. I've already gone over budget on this so when they came for their summer visit I had him leave it here to try to fix it. Problem is you cannot see the original screen. If you try to bring it up in safe mode it "thinks" forever. When windows comes up it doesn't give a chance to log in as a different user or admin. I've tried windows + X and nothing. The only other option is to use a pin. Can anyone help?? You can't use F8 because it doesn't show up on the other monitor.
