    Help for Recovering Uninstalled Bluetooth


    I'm running Windows 10 on my Microsoft Surface Go tablet. This morning my bluetooth crapped out and wouldn't recognize my mouse or keyboard. It's been periodically messing up but would work after I removed the device and paired it again.


    But not today. It couldn't even find the mouse or keyboard. So I went through all the steps posted on other threads here Microsoft site. I ran the troubleshooter, shut down and unplugged, tried updating the drivers, etc. I finally uninstalled it through the device manager. Clicked the "scan for hardware changes" and got the same results when I tried pairing my devices. So I repeated the steps and shut down before running the scan. Now it's gone--completely. I scanned for hardware changes after restarting and nothing shows up. It's not hidden and now the troubleshooter says "Bluetooth is not available on this device" and "try using an external adapter".


    Any help would be appreciated as I don't want to use an external adapter on my tablet as I have one USB C port.
