    Help! Getting Stuck During Microsoft Safety Scan


    Hello, I have a Lenovo B590 Laptop with Win10. I have been experiencing an issue with my computer volume control. It will suddenly shut off, so no volume comes through the device. Restarting seems to make the volume control return to normal, but then it will go out again at irregular intervals. In an effort to investigate this, I tried running a full scan on the computer using Microsoft Safety Scanner. The scanner says it detected over 5,000 infected files, then after about 6 hours of scanning, it gets stuck on a specific file. I have to restart the computer to cancel the scanner. Is there

    Microsoft Safety was recommended to me in here, I think by Dal. It is a highly detailed every single file scan, took 20 hours.
