Windows 10: [HELP] How to get back UEFI Firmware Settings

Hi There some weeks, i tried the Windows 10 Dev Updates channel, to see futur changes. Usually i use the Beta channel. Initially i did a clean install of Windows 10 20H1 with the MediaCreation tool and the setup on my USB key.

After having see the futur changes on 20H2 dev channel, i back directly on the previous version (so 20H1, my initial setup) with the option in Recovery option in Updates from the new settings app.

After the back on 20H1, i see that i didn't get anymore the advanced option in Advanced boot option in Recovery menu. I also notice that the "Windows" folder was renamed to "WINDOWS"..

After some search, i get back some recovery advanced options, but not the UEFI boot option in Recovery boot menu like here: https://www.partitionwizard.com/partitionmagic/uefi-firmware-settings-missing-windows-10.html.

In MiniTool partition Wizard, my C: have theses following partitions: https://i.ibb.co/hK38sBT/a.jpg

My motherboard is an ASUS P8Z68-V. I have check in my BIOS setup, in boot options, the first boot priority is: "Windows Boot Manager (SSD Drive)". If i switch it to SSD Drive, so the one without the "Windows Boot Manager", i save the change and i reboot, it won't boot by saying an error message "No boot partition" or something like that and it show "grub:" to write something.

It could be possible for me to get back the UEFI option to disable it without making a compelte fresh install of Windows 10 20H1 ?

uefi firmware settings

I did have UEFI Firmware Settings under settings / update and security / recovery / advanced startup - restart now

and then under troubleshooting /advanced

but it is no longer listed... how can I get the UEFI Firmware settings back into recovery?

Cant acces uefi firmware settings


Hey guys,
So Im trying to install a new graphics card, and I have to tweak some settings in the bios. Unfortunately, when I try to open it(pressing escape at startup, scrolling down, and selecting uefi settings and pressing enter) nothing happens. I looked this up, and it said to go to advanced startup and go through some steps to get to a menu that supposedly contains "uefi firmware settings". Now, I confirmed that this is the right menu, but the option is just not there. I thought about updating my BIOS, but there are no updates for it available.
Does anyone know what do?

One possible reason why the UEFI Firmware Settings suddenly went missing is because of a recent update. To better assist you, kindly answer the questions below:

• Were there any recent updates installed on your computer prior to this happening?
• What is the current version of your Windows 10? To check, type in winver on
  Cortana's search field and press Enter.
• What is the make and model of your computer?
• Does your computer have a legacy BIOS or does it have a UEFI firmware? To check, type in
  MSINFO on Cortana's search field and press Enter. Look for the BIOS Mode parameter and the the corresponding value.
