Windows 10: Help, I cannot install Windows due to inability to restart system properly.

Hello everyone, i have no idea how to find my answer in the internet, as my case seems to be somewhat unusual. Maybe? So, to start from the beginning: I just played some games and suddenly my pc rebooted. No error message. I got back into my desktop and even had enough time to rejoin the voice call with my friends to tell that my pc just crashed. After that it happened again. That was the last time I saw my desktop or even the login screen the system just rebooted and gave me the following code: irql driver_not_less_or_equal. I researched it and tried the following things:-Just use 1 ram

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

I suggest you to perform the below given steps and check if it helps:

Method 1: This issue may happen due to system file corruption. I suggest you to run System file checker. System File checker (SFC) scan is done to check if there are any corrupted system files that could be causing this issue. Kindly
follow the below given steps:

• Press Windows key + X, select
  Command prompt (Admin) to bring up elevated Command prompt.
• In Command prompt type sfc/scannow and press enter.
• Restart the computer.

Method 2: If no corrupted system files were found in the previous state, then I suggest you to try the following steps:

• Open command prompt by pressing Windows key + X and selecting “Command prompt admin”.
• In command prompt, type the following commands and press Enter after each command:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

• Close the command prompt and restart the PC and check if it works.

System restarts automatically?????HELP!!!!!

Hello Hardware monkeys

I need serious help. I put my HIS 4850 in my system on last Thursday. I checked at weekend and system worked very well on saturday sunday.
But at monday on my way back home i tried to run any game the restarted automatically. I was busy in some work and i had to reinstall my windows due to some file corruption so i thought it might be due to files corruption.

The last day i was installing Windows XP SP2 and system began to restart between setup. After completion of windows drivers have been installed but systems reboot randomly either i am gaming or at desktop. I am really pissed off*Bang Head :banghead:

I am running my CPU at stock speed 2.2GHz but the Temperatures according to BIOS setup are System temperature 47C and CPU 43C.
Is that hot enough to crashhhh*Confused

Please help in this situation i do not want to ruin my this weekend and thanks in advance.





All my friends did great job by storming their minds. I solved my problem Through downloading the AMD optimizer and that was the thing bothering me. It is really an X2 bug and beware of it everyone.

Thanks to all, even PSU guys.( Naturally this kinda problems occurred due to PSU)
