Windows 10: Help! I updated. UPDATED.

Now it's slower than molasses. It's so damn slow. I have no idea how to restore my speed. I already put the updates back on manual along with BITS. I removed the leftovers via cmd like I usually did but I don't feel like it worked this time. It's still begrudgingly unbearable.

Should I make a fresh install? Why is Windows doing this? How the hell does a pc take 5 minutes before the welcome screen and more than 10 on a black screen past "welcome"? Should I just give up on Windows for now? Do they have a r/ to check whether an update is safe?

1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.
