    Help. I'm loading WinXP on a Win10-compatible PC. It's stuck at Setup is starting Windows.


    Yesterday, I got a WinXP disc off of eBay. I went to put it in my PC and waited for WinXP to boot up. Then, I saw it was stuck at Setup is starting Windows. I waited an hour and it never went to the setup screen. I slept and let it sit for 12 hours and nothing happened. I went to try and do some stuff but nothing worked. Please help me, I've been interested for almost a month. No errors but it's making me frustrated. It almost feels like a waste of money. I tried: Pressing F6Pressing F7Pressing F5 and pressing both optionsI have no screenshots.

    Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

    When in win10:
    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
    Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.
