Windows 10: Help in deleting a temp Viber file!

Because I was performing a cleanup of files and there were files I couldn't delete. Although I know to end task of OneDrive for files that can't be deleted, and restarting OneDrive with the code I have, but then I couldn't do that with my Viber app on desktop as I do not know the code for rerunning it on task manager. So does anyone know?

Hi Pian. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 10 year Windows MVP here to help you.

It's a locked data file for Viber app so if you want to keep Viber I'd leave it alone, if you want to get rid of Viber uninstall it properly in Settings > Apps > Apps & Features.

If Disk Cleanup cannot clean up Temp files when you run it as shown in this tutorial, then I would not bother with them:

These temp files will not delete

• Do you receive any prompt or error code?
• What happens, when you try to delete temp files?

I suggest you to follow these methods below and check, if it works:

Method 1:

• Press Windows key + R key together, to open RUN command Window.
• Type "temp" in the RUN Command Window, to open temp folder and then delete the files and folders inside the temp folder.

If the issue persists, follow method 2.

Method 2:

• Press Windows key + R key together, to open RUN command Window.
• Type "%temp%" in the RUN Command Window, to open temp folder and then delete the files and folders inside the temp folder.
  

If the issue persists, follow method 3.

Method 3:

I suggest you to boot the computer to Safe Mode, then perform disk cleanup on Windows 10 and check, if it works.
