    Help installing Paradox 10 for windows on an HP Pavillion running Windows 11


    I have attempted to install Paradox 10 for Windows on my new HP Pavilion running Windows 11. It appears to install properly, but when I open it it responds with the following error: Could not initialize BDE: You have attempted to open a database that is in use by someone else, but the database cannot be shared. You must set the location for the .NET control file.This ran fine on Windows 10 so I would appreciate any help on what I can do. Thanks

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    hp pavillion dv2000t BSOD at windows logo...

    Hello i have a hp pavillion dv2000t tha gives me the BSOD for half of a second or less when i get to the windows logo and restarts. I went into bios and did the hardrive test and it passed everything. I tried to re install windows and it says the harddrive is not connected or could not be detected, i forgot the exact wording.

    anyone know whats going on here? time for new ram...hdd?????

    btw i booted knoppix of the cd fine and it worked....
