Windows 10: HELP! Laptop randomly goes to sleep

So I’ve had this problem for the last few weeks. The laptop with suddenly go to sleep in the middle of working . After this happens I’ll press the power button and it wakes up with everything right where it was. The laptop is set to never sleep.

Things I’ve noticed: 1) It’s more likely to do this when watching videos 2) typing is laggy now too with missing key strokes

The laptop is an Asus ROG g751jy The battery is shot and it only works off cord

Another thing, before this I was taking a final exam through proctor u. While trying to connect to proctors I was connected to a proctor and in the chat log a download was started that said something about “script inject” and “blacklist”.

Any help or input would be great!

Laptop goes to sleep randomly while playing games

Hi,

If your laptop randomly goes to Sleep mode while you're playing, then this may have something to do with the Power options. Try to check if your laptop is set to Sleep mode after a certain minute. Just simply go to Settings, click System, then select Power
& sleep. You can also check the Additional power settings.

Now, if it's still the same after you changed the Power settings, then we suggest that you contact the device manufacturer.

Laptop goes to sleep randomly during use after update.

Hi,

After I updated, my laptop randomly goes to sleep while I am using it. Does anyone have any solutions to this? I am running Windows 10 on a Lenovo IdeaPad 700.
