    Help! Laptop won't change!


    HI,So I received this Pavilion Laptop for work and school but I cannot change crucial settings. Everything says, "Access is denied" When I try and change settings such as the ones below...-cannot switch accounts to Administrators-cannot disable/enable firewall-cannot change the computer nameIt's sad because I wanted to download apps like, "Steam" and "OBS Studios" but my laptop will block most files. It was because of the firewall so I tried to "easy up" firewall restrictions but could not because of not being an administrator so I tried switching my account settings. It would not change so I

    I would like to note that step 20 comes up with no files. Perhaps this could be the source of the issues?

    Volume Mute Light won´t change color

    For my model only up to win7 is listed and HP says that it does not provide win 10 upgrades for a laptop my age. Don´t know how to open or use msconfig-my computer skills are very selective and all in all very poor.
