Windows 10: Help! Lent my computer and they’ve wiped my laptop!

Ive lent my laptop out and after months i have got it back, but the unscrupulous person i loaned it to has wiped my laptop, removed my account and is refusing to give me the admin password.

i dont know what to do!

i had windows 10 professional on it, ive managed to log into a childs account theyve created without password but obviously i have no control to do anything.


I can see by this account theyve now installed windows 10 home, im so frustrated that i now how a useless laptop that i cant install word or anything without parental permission.

Its a laptop Stream that i want to give to my own child.

the laptop is registered to my microsoft account.

any ideas?

Wiping computer

Your report suggests that your installation has suffered some damage which prevents Windows from doing a reset. In such stubborn cases I would do this:

1. Create a new media installation disk:
   
   Windows 10 herunterladen
2. Run setup.exe on this disk.

It would wipe everything, including your data and all applications.
