Windows 10: Help Me Fix this Scam Situation ASAP

My HP Envy laptop was frozen today, 5/8/2025 and I was told by a voice recording and message to call 866-907-1268 on frozen screen. I gave Sam Scott remote access to my computer. I'm afraid now I was scammed and need to know how to protect my information. What can you do to protect my information at this point? Here's info. in more detail:5/8/2025 12:03pm-1pm tt Sam Scott MS Same_59690237 re computer shutdown and MS message telling me to call 866 907-1268 to resolve the issue. Gave MS team remote control ID below. Checked my Public IP Address online 104.10.78.184...no Private IP Ad

• What is the phone number that you have contacted?
• What is the make and model of the computer?
