Help me please, I rebooted my laptop, and while it was rebooting it was stuck at 36% for more than 3 hours now so I decided to forced shut the laptop downOnce it was closed I re-opened the laptop again, Then this "Choose an operating system" shows there was 2 options Windows 10 on volume 3 and Windows 10 on volume 3 so I clicked the first option The first option just restarts the laptop in loop or it keeps bring me to the same question "Choose an operating system", same with the 2nd option but it restarts then off then on, then back to "Choose an opera

Stuck in Reboot loop after power cut

Hi,

We understand your concern and appreciate the time and effort that you have invested in to fix the issue.

Before we proceed, I would like you to state which troubleshooting steps have you performed bedsides the mentioned to fix the issue.

As per the description, I suspect that you might be stuck in a reboot loop. I suggest that you perform Power Drain and check if it helps

• Unplug the charger and remove the battery of your laptop, if using a desktop remove the power cord.
• Press and hold the Power button for 30sec
• Plug the charger/power cord and restart system

KB3176934/36 stuck at Working on Updates


Hello Community,

I believe my Windows 10 is stuck installing those 2 updates (or 1 of the 2). It stays at Working on Updates 63% complete and stays there forever.

Steps I've tried:
1- Hard rebooting (same effect)
2- Using the Windows 10 Pro CD
2a- Startup repair (no effect)
2b- System Restore (Message saying to reboot and select a Restore Point, but when I reboot it comes back to Working on updates)

Help me!

Try turning off automatic restart on system failure and see if it is giving a blue-screen before it reboots. That might at least give you an error message or code so you can start your troubleshooting from there. Otherwise it is just a shot in the dark. It could be bad RAM, bad HDD, bad ODD, a bad cable somewhere, PSU dying, motherboard dying, a software issue and the list goes on...

I don't think he ever said it reboots during the boot process. It just randomly reboots while the computer is running.
