Windows 10: help me recover my recorded video from snipping tools

okay today around 11am i recorded my interview session and then after 35 minutes the snipping tools taskbar is gone so i thought it already auto save. then i go search all of my files but i couldnt find it. so i go ask google then i saw someone share about the TempState, i already try it but no, still nowhere to be found. please help me its important for my assignment. i just need my 35 minutes recording back.

Can I recover an older recording from snipping tool?

I recorded a video using the Windows 11 snipping tool. I accidentally closed the preview before I could save it a few days ago, and I haven't been able to recover video. I can recover videos that were recorded on the same day (using LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.ScreenSketch_8wekyb3d8bbwe\TempState), but not videos that are a few days old.



I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to recover older videos that were not saved.

 

Snipping Tool Video Recording

I was recording using the snipping tool. For some reason, there is half audio and half no audio in the recording when finished. Can I recover the half part of audio?

 

Is it possible to record a video via the Snipping Tool in 60fps instead of 30fps?

The video recording in the Snipping Tool is not configurable, it is set to the one framerate and currently that cannot be changed, there is no setting or known registry hack to do that.

The best option would be to open the Feedback Hub (Windows Key + F) and suggest to their developers they add this as an option in the Snipping Tool.
