Windows 10: Help - Monitor screen stuck in B&W

Don't know what I hit when I was trying to copy and paste, but my monitor went to B&W and I can't change it back to color.I tried the buttons on the monitor, no help, went to the "gear icon" and tried different setting, still no help, tried to reset the setting, nothing. Tried turning off the monitor and computer, nothing, I give up.Any help is appreciated. David

My screen brightness is completely stuck.

• Incorrect settings.
• Corrupt or outdated display driver.

I suggest you to download and install all the available Windows Updates including Optional Updates. Check if it helps.

Method: 2

If the issue persists, I suggest you to uninstall and re-install latest display driver from the computer manufacturer website and check if it helps.

Step 1: Uninstall display driver.

• Right-click on the Start Button and click on
  Device manager.
• Double-click on Display Adapters to expand.
• Right-click on the display adapter driver that is listed and select properties.
• In the window opened, click on drivers tab.
• In the drivers tab, Click on Uninstall option.

Step 2: Now re-install display driver from the manufacturer website.

Monitor screen blinking.

I suggest you to update the display drivers and check.

Method 2: Update drivers.

I suggest you to update graphic drivers and check if it helps. Follow the steps given below.

• Press Windows key + X key and click on
  Device manager.
• Search for Display Adapters.
• Right-click on the graphics
  card and click on Update driver software.

You may also download the drivers from the manufacture’s website and check.
