Windows 10: HELP MY CAPS LOCK WONT TURN OFF

never mind I dont know what happened but now I have to press ctrl shift to turn it off can any of yall help me

This is likely to be one of those where, as I don't know what you've already tried, I'll have spent time suggesting what you have tried.

That's why I asked for a clear list of what you have tried.

Do you see this when you toggle caps lock?

 

Caps lock won't turn on

hi ,

on my computer the caps lock wont turn on and it is required for the password , is there a way to fix this while the computer is locked or is there an alternative set of buttons that also controll the caps lock ?

Turn off Caps Lock

I understand that you are unable to turn off the Caps Lock. We will help you to resolve the issue.

I would appreciate if you could answer few questions to narrow down the issue.

  Did you try the same with different keyboard?
  
• 
  Did you try it in On Screen Keyboard?
  

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall keyboard drivers and check if it helps.

Steps to uninstall and reinstall driver.

• Press “Windows key + X” and click on “Device Manager”.
• In the list of devices, you should see the keyboard drivers.
• Right click on the device and then select "Uninstall".
• In the uninstall dialog, make sure you select the option to delete the driver package from the system. This causes the driver package installed earlier to be deleted.
• In the Action menu of Device manager, select “Scan for Hardware changes”
  option. This will cause the device driver to be reinstalled. Once the driver is installed, close all windows and restart the computer.
