Windows 10: HELP my computer is only typing accented Vowels àèìòù

Currently my asus ROG g513ie laptop is only typing in accented vowels. I have tried booting up in safe mode recovery and even taking off the keycap but this hasn't worked. I know it is a key being pressed but there isn't one down. I have an external keyboard and the same thing is happening with it or without it. Please could I have some help as I can't log in with my pin.

Are the makers of the windows phone HTC radar aware that the character "ã" is not available? A Latin character not available, this issue must be a virus, right?

On my HTC Titan, I just switched to the Portuguese keyboard option (Settings > System > Keyboard), held down the "a" key, and up popped a bunch of accented variants including "ã". (I just typed this reply on my Titan.)



You can have multiple language's keyboards selected in Settings, and toggle between them with the key to the right of the space (or as I type this, the "espaço") key.

When using the HTC Radar Windows Phone to text or email using words in Portuguese the character "ã" is not an option, since it is a Latin letter, I wonder if this is a bug my phone came with from the manufacturer, because it seems really absurd such character
not be available.

 

e51 steals characters left in the message when writing characters like ã,ô,õ,á,í,ú, etc

I have an e51 since March and I always update the phone software.
In the past months whenever I write a text message:
- if I have (example) 20 characters left to complete 1 message
- and suddenly I write one character like: á,ã,í,ó,õ,ú,etc.
- it considers each of those as many characters and then I have (example) 60 characters remaining to complete
2 messages
- instead of having 19 characters remaining to complete 1 message
- which is what should be, because á,ã,í,ó,õ,ú,etc are just one character.

This way, now I am forced to write without those accents otherwise I'll have to pay my network for sending more message.

What is wrong with the phone and how can I change everything back to normal ?
I hope I was clear explaining the problem.
