    HELP My data was lost after I accidentally added ink to the "shared albums"


    I changed the folder in the "shared albums" section to one of my data disk. And all my data on that disk was lost. Where did it go? Is there any way to get my data back? That data is up to 400GbHelp me please

    accidentally deleted/lost data from SD Card using on Lumia 830

    Accidentally deleted/lost all the data (Pictures, videos, important documents and books). Using Lumia 830 Windows 10 upgraded. Once accidentally removes the sd card all the data was lost only empty sd card.

    google lot but can't find the recovery software for this. Kindly guide me step by step how to recover the data. Thanks.

    It is possible that the photos added to the album haven't loaded properly when the app was launched, or that the album was not saved prior to shutting down the computer. Before we proceed, we would like to get some information about the lost photos from
    your album in Photos app. Kindly respond to the questions below:

    • We would like to confirm if you have saved the album before shutting down the computer.
    • Are you able to view your other albums? Does the photos appear from those albums?
    • Have you attempted to wait for the photos to appear? This could be due to the data have not yet synced.

    Well, I'm sorry to hear that it's a WD My Passport that failed on you, @tomhenry ! *Frown HELP My data was lost after I accidentally added ink to the "shared albums" :(
    I'd recommend you to try using a different USB cable with it and see if that will help your system to detect it without it disconnecting.
    I'd also suggest you to go to Disk Management and see how the drive is listed there. It won't hurt to check up on the health and SMART status of the HDD by running the QUICK and EXTENDED tests from the WD's Data LifeGuard Diagnostics.
