Windows 10: Help! Need help enabling automatic updating

Hey yall! hope you can help. So i need to run automatic updates on windows 10 for a job I am applying to. There is a program to check my diagnostics for my computer and this a prerequisite. However, after going to my settings, it says there is a feature update for version 2004, and its not ready yet. So i went to my advanced options to have it show notifications and to restart as soon as possible, and i did not select a date in the "pause updates" category.

After running the diagnostic again for a third and fourth time it is still saying i do not have automatic updates enabled. Please help! I need a job lol

A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.
