Help needed for periodic MSI BSODs

IMPORTANT: There are no minidump folders or files that I can see for my BSODsNot sure what to do with this one.Long story short I bought an MSI GT72 6QD refurbished and had MSI replace the crappy refurb drives with a Samsung 960 as a boot drive and Samsung 860 evo for storage. The laptop has worked fine all this time 3 years of university but now it's periodically BSODing with no clear cause. When it bluescreens, it gets stuck in a bios boot loop until I turn it off and on again a few times. What tools do I need to use to get a log of what's going on? I have no minidumps 'Dump file creation f

Need Serious Help: How To Record Video of What is Done on my PC?

I suggest the following simple steps:

    1. Set the autosave options in MS Office to a low value say 5 minutes.
    2. Setup file history to autosave frequently - the shortest period is 5 mins
    3. Install Macrium Reflect Free and configure it to do a daily incremental system backup

You should be well covered if you do the above to protect your key files.

    BSOD- atikmpag.sys

This is most likely due to an installation/upgrade error with ATI driver's. I suggest doing DriveSweeper and the following:
    • Drivesweeper all drivers & in Safe Mode
    • Unistall all drivers that aren't used in DriveSweeper (CCC Profiler Updates, MSI AfterBurner, anything related to ATI that use's it's drivers.)
    • After you do this, the first thing you need to do is go into Device Manager and Unistall your ATI Drivers

Once your done, restart the PC and then try installing the latest drivers.

I had several issues with this in the past, but I overcame it with logical reasoning and whenever I have a driver issue, I just use these steps and I always overcome the problem.

    Best of luck! *Toast :toast:
