    Help needed on Random shutdowns and bsod - Lenovo y510p Laptop


    Hi all,


    I am having some strange random shutdowns and sometimes bsod errors after which the system fails to reboot and I have to force boot the laptop.

    I have a Lenovo Y510p running Core i7 4700MQ and Gt750M gpu with 16GB ram.

    Lenovo Y510P (Unsupported for Win 10) Camera Driver Needed


    Hello and welcome ksuthayya have had a look for a driver for your machine but there are only drivers listed up to 8.1 not 10.

    Another Google found that there was no camera driver support for 10. for a similar Lenovo Lenovo Y510P (Unsupported for Win 10) Camera Drive... - Lenovo Community

    Having said that my old Toshiba was in the same position and yet when I installed 10 Windows updates found drivers for stuff not listed on the Toshiba site.

    Now a suggestion would be to get a clip on camera and install it via USB or like wise because it would have it owns driver. If my memory serves me right they are not that expensive - but still annoying eh?.

    Cooling pad for Lenovo Y510p

    So , I just have a laptop Lenovo y510p (i7 and single gt755m), and the summer it is around the corner so I want to buy a cooling pad , my question it is the Cooler Master NotePal U3 Plus a good one?, I like that I can use as only pad, change the coolers...I don't care if it is have usb power or wallet power...

    Lenovo will never see another dime from me.

    The Y510p was an expensive laptop and they should support it...
