Windows 10: Help please! Frequency out of range on projector

Hi, I have a Sony VPL-EX5 projector. I turned it on last week with no issues, just plugged the cords in and turned it on, it worked first go. This week I tried turning it on so I can test it with the rest of my set up Broadcasting a meeting and all I get is a blue screen and a thing saying "frequency out of range". I have tried all the normal fixes - turning everything off, checking the cables and turning it back on, I have the Laptop Dell running Microsoft 11 set to 1024 x 768 and the refresh rate to 60 Hz. I have been researching on this issue and found the similar troubleshooting steps that you have tried. However, you may want to give a try to the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the Sony article

Error: Frequency Out of Range and see if that helps.



If the issue persists, I would suggest you get in touch with the
Sony support team and check for any other settings.

SONY PROJECTOR VPL EX4 - FREQUENCY IS OUT OF RANGE

I have a SONY VPL-EX4 DATA PROJECTOR that shows "FREQUENCY IS OUT OF RANGE", I have been using it on my desktop running Windows 10 Operating system, I have change from one computer to another but still no solution found.
I have changed operating system to Windows 7, still the same issue. I have changed the resolution to 800 x 600 and 1080 x 768 at frequency of 60Hz as recommended by one of the online sites (Redirecting)
still, NO SOLUTION.
i have open it and cleaned the dust, may be to check if the problem could be within, still, NO SOLUTION.
I have changed different VGA cables but NO SOLUTION found.

Could there be anyone that can get me any other solution to try out? This projector is driving me nuts.

• Are you getting any error messages?
• What troubleshooting steps you've done so far?

For the meantime, we suggest you to update your drivers for your projector. You can get the drivers through
Windows Update or through the manufacturer's website.
