Windows 10: Help please!! How to get rid of useless and disruptive school or work account

Here is my issue. I once assisted in a lecture at a University, and was asked to use Microsoft Teams. I needed to create a school or work account on my local computer linked to the school to do this. This has made my life a nightmare. I no longer need this account at all, but it has taken over my computer and I want desperately to get rid of it.For instance, I constantly get a message that I need to fix something in the School account, but when I enter my password, I am told to go to Authenticator to give permission. Nothing ever appears on Authenticator, and I am led around in an endless circ

Notification about work or school account whenever I start windows

Recently I have been getting the following notification whenever I log in to windows 10:

However, when I go there (or search for solutions online) I tend to end up with a step where I need to log into the specific account.

However, it is not my account but of someone who used my laptop recently, and who I don't want to bother with this.

I have full rights to my laptop, and am looking for a way to get rid of the notification.

Can't remove a Work or School account from Windows 10

Peter, this works perfectly - Great to know that removing the MSA sign in also does not disrupt anything.
