  1. Help: remove "legalnotice & legaltext" upon login Win10 pro

Windows 10 pro machine was on domain. removed from domain. have run gpo /force/boot. login legal notice still appears. machine is in Workgroup, with local user. this is not a domain user that is using a cached profile to login.

using my local policy editor as admin, I can see the entries for legalnotice and text, but can not modify them or replace them.

Searching registery for "legalnotice" etc does NOT turn up any entries.

Can someone point me to some articles they have used to successfully remove the login legal notice login prompt?

    Win 10 pro v2004.

    Can't login to new computer w/Windows 10

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.

    • Are you able to login to Microsoft Account on Web?

    • Have you installed any language pack?
I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.

Hope this helps. If the issue remains unresolved, please get back to us and we would be happy to help.

How do I remove Windows 10 Pro login?

    Hi,

Welcome to Microsoft Community. Your interest in Windows 10 is much appreciated.

To disable the Microsoft account login to the system, follow the below steps:

    • Press Windows key+ R to open the Run dialog.

    • Enter "control userpasswords2" (without the quotes), remove the check against "Users must enter a password" and follow the instructions.

To disable the PIN authentication, refer the below link and try the method suggested by me:

How do you disable the pin authentication on login on Windows 10?
