    Well the things (Skype) is not even installed and I keep getting notification about being added to some very unsavoury people.

    How do I protect myself from this please, as it is becoming very annoying.

    Help with Skype

    I don't know how it happened but my sons live account somehow got linked to my Skype acct and now my password to get into Skype wont work. Whenever I try to log in, my password wont work and if I try to reset it I can't because it asks for my sons email
    information to send a reset code. If I do manage to reset the password then my Son cannot access his live account. Help! I don't know how to undo this since under account info in Skype all I see is my email I signed up with, not my son's. When my son tries
    to log into his Skype it logs him into mine! UGH!

    Hi,

    To assist you with the issue, you just need to log in to www.skype.com using a browser. Go to account settings and click the Unlink Microsoft account. See sample picture below:

    I haven't tried this yet, but someone on the Skype forums said to set your age to 13. Microsoft protects anyone under 16 from unwanted contacts. But you have to be at least 13 to use the service. It might work.
