Windows 10: Help Slow browser download speeds since Windows 10 upgrade

Hi, I just updated from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 last night. In Windows 8.1 all my speeds were fine. My steam download speeds are fine in Windows 10, same with Nvidia Geforce driver downloader. When I try download a file from a browser (Edge, chrome and FF) the download speed is capped at 25 kb/s. Before the Windows 10 update these speeds were the same as my steam ones. I don't use Reddit much, but I've been searching for a solution for 5 hours now to no avail. Thank you for your time.

Microsoft store download speeds and windows 10 app load speeds are very slow

Hi Riel,

• The latest update I have showing is "2018-02 Cumulative update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64 based system KB4074588"
• I've tried all the below steps suggested by Eeshwar Kumar in this link: Why is Windows Store's download speed so slow?
• And also all by Jane La in the below: Microsoft Store Very Low Download Speeds

• I would suggest you to test the speed using any of the speed test website or app to confirm the upload and download speed.
• I also suggest you to reset the wireless router to check if that helps.
  
• You may plug in the Ethernet cable if available and check the speed.

Windows 10 download speed issues

Try this method:

• First of all from Start Menu, open Settings (Type settings in the search bar and it will appear).
• locate and select “Update and Security“.
• in this window, Locate “Advanced Options”. Click on it.
• In Advanced Options; Click on “Choose How Updates are Delivered“.
• Turn off Updates from more than one place.

Your system will not work as a seeder for other Windows 10 users. It will give sudden boast to your Slow internet speed.
