    Help speed an old laptop up?


    I have an old laptop from 2012, Samsung NP530U4C

    i5 3317U- 3rd gen 1.7GHz 6GB DDR3 RAM 1TB HDD Nvidia GeForce 620M

    And it's become really unusably slow. I tried reinstalling clean, fresh Win10 Home couple of times, updated drivers, still no luck. Any idea why it might be so slow? And what can I do to speed it up (enough to atleast transfer files, view documents, use the internet, etc.) ?
