Windows 10: Help syncing Outlook PWA

I've been using Microsoft Mail for a couple years now but wanted to try Outlook PWA. I have now have two questions. First, how can I sync my gmail account with Outlook PWA? All my web searches just show how to connect it with the regular Outlook. Second, what is the difference between Outlook PWA app and the regular Outlook app that are both available in the app store?

Sync outlook mail

If you are referring to Outlook Mail app then, I suggest you to follow the below steps to change the Mailbox sync settings.

• Open the Mail app and sign in to your account.
• Click on the gear icon (Settings) from the bottom left corner.
• Click on the Accounts under
  Settings.
• Click on your account and select Change settings.
• Click on the Change mailbox sync settings and check in the
  Sync options.

Cannot sync Outlook on my desktop with my live account

To better help you with your concern, kindly tell us which version of Outlook App are you using?

In the meantime, we suggest that you follow the steps below and check if the same thing will happen:

• Open the Outlook App in safe mode. Here are the steps:
  
  1.1. Press Windows + R, type Outlook /safe, and then hit
  Enter.
• Disable the Outlook connector and then re-enable it.
