Help! System wipe is admin locked and user login password is unknown.

So my dad gave me one of his old work computers. It's a Windows 7 Professional. He can't remember his password to the computer so I can't wipe the computer from the home page. I tried wiping it from the login page but it is password locked. I have also tried changing the user password but that hasn't worked either. My dad works in IT and he doesn't know what to do, so if anyone has any suggestions, please tell me.

    :)

Admin password unknown and missing files after upload

Ok, I know these questions have been asked, but I have tried everything I can understand.
Need to be spoken like a noob - step by step please.
Win10 put on my system everything initially fine, then discovered files missing - tried to install a recover program to be frustrated by a prompt to input an admin password with User [USER-PC\USER]
I have tried every password ever used.
I have tried going to cmd prompt
I cant install anything to circumnavigate because I cant get past this dialogue.

    any suggests?

Help! System wipe is admin locked and user login password is unknown.

Unknown user account at windows 10 login screen

I have the same issue but I have 11 users and now on the log in screen I have 11 user names and 11 of the "password" with the "key" next to them. So, that's 22 logins on the lock screen. The "password" logins are actually the users. I am trying to get rid
of the "password" tabs so only my user names show on the login screen. I checked for the registry folder you mentioned and it is not in the list.

    Any other suggestions?
