Windows 10: Help, Task manager says something about performance that is wrong!

So my laptop is running really sluggishly, surprisingly. I have a AMD Ryzen 7 4700U with Radeon Graphics, 2.00GHz.Task manager says I'm using approx 20% of my CPU, but the performance tab in the Xbox game bar says %89-100 percent. Why is this?I'm assuming some Trojan has snuck into my laptop, but Windows Defender, Avast, and Malwarebytes have come up blank. I'm using Windows 10.Here's an attached image showing what I mean.

Actually, I like your suggestion as a first step.

Unchecking the wrong thing in Autoruns can brick a system.

 

No restart button in task manager

another easy way to kill tasks, download and install Winaero Tweaker(free) and theres a setting to add a Kill non responding tasks using the desktop right click menu. When you place your cursor on the desktop anywhere and right click the option is at the top of the list, Very handy and you dont have to go through all those steps and well Winaero Tweaker has alot of cool Windows tweaks. Just posting a different suggestion, Im sure your ok with what was suggested here.

 

Scroll issues in Task Manager, Windows 10

steps to reproduce the problem

1. open task manager
2. click on more details if its not
3. go to performance tab
4. decrease its height till it has two scrolls for the two sections
5. hover over the right section (CPU, Memory, …) and try to scroll
