Windows 10: [Help] Trouble Saving Paint 3D Projects as Models

I use Paint 3D a lot for the heck of it, sometimes creating projects that are huge, but I manage to save them. However, this time I can't seem to save my project as a model.

It is made entirely of pre-made elements totaling less than 60 MB, and it can be saved within the app (that takes about 20 minutes, though, and another 20 to open). However, I can't save the project as a 3D model - the app will crash and I'll have to take 20 minutes to open again. I can't even view it in the Mixed Reality Viewer from Paint 3D. Does anyone know how to fix this without getting rid of the project? Or perhaps find the location where the project is stored?

Paint 3D Projects not Appearing

Hi,

The location that you've provided is the default file storage for Paint 3D. For us to provide the best resolution possible, we'll be needing additional information:

• Have you tried browsing on the default file storage and open the project files in Open menu? If yes, what happens when opening the project files?
• What do you mean about project.json does not point to any of the projects?

Meanwhile, we suggest that you run the Windows apps troubleshooter as an initial troubleshooting step and check if the project files are visible in the Open menu. You can also try browsing the project files in the Open menu after running the troubleshooter.

Unable to recover paint 3D project

I have saved many of my paint 3D projects in 3D model and also in project form. Now when i am opening it to edit it i am unable to edit it. All the shapes
have form a group unable to ungroup it..I have also tried the run option which is mentioned online but it is also not working. It has months of my hard work.. Please help many of my important projects are saved in it and i have to edit it.

 

Paint 3d projects deleted

Paint 3d was not responding, so i did a reset. It said no files would be deleted, but they all were. I still have files i saved as glb files, but 2d projects are gone. A system restore did not help. Nor did a recover search for the Ms Paint app data bin
files. Are my projects gone forever?
