    Please help. How do I exactly turn off ad blockers using Windows desktop 8.1? I normally use Firefox, so maybe you can answer the same question for Firefox?

    Help turning off ad blockers

    Actually, Qwant and Lukol both are showing these Ad links in the first search link results. And there's no settings that turn off these ads.

    DuckDuckGo is the only one of them, which turns them off. But only if you go to the settings and turn off Ads. By default you'll see Ad links, which is what the original poster was complaining about.

    Turning off Google Personalized Ads doesn't make a difference at all. I've made this experiment last 1 year. Neither will the Ad links go away nor the advertisement pop-ups in certain sites. Google claim that turning the setting off will simply display more relevant ads.

    Built in tracking protection in Edge Chromium, Waterfox and Opera GX block the ads and tracking, but not the Ad links in search engine results.
