Windows 10: help updating a hp2000

I have purchased a used HP 2000 laptop from a resale store I have tried updating to Windows 10 I received a message saying to contact the software publisher I have attempted to factory reset but I am denied access to download a new version of Windows What can I do I can't afford A NEW LAPTOP AT THIS TIME AND I need THIS ONE FOR MY ONLINE COURSES IT DID NOT COME WITH A PRODUCT KEY WHICH IS ALSO A PROBLEM S#5cg2453HNDpC2N31UA#ABA I also keep receiving error messages saying am not connected to the internet and I am connected I just don't know if this can be fixed or not. Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
