Windows 10: Help using an older PC and monitor for dual screens

Hello,I was wondering if anyone could help me,I have been given an older model PC Lenovo T450 and I wish to use a dual monitor with it. However the laptop does not have a HDMI port, just a VGA. I also have an old monitor/tv with a VGA Magnavox 15" LCD TV, Model No. 15MF400T/37, manufactured in 2005. I have connected the two via a VGA cable, which results in a mirrored screen. Ideally, I would like to have a dual monitor set up so I can use the two screen at once. However I am struggling to do so. Is it a case of having the wrong type of screen/port, or am I missing something.Appreciate any

Screen saver with dual monitors

Before proceeding, we need more information to help you better.

• 
  Have you upgraded the graphics card?
  
• 
  Do you have any other issues except the screensaver issue on second monitor?
  

I suggest you to follow the below link to update the graphics card drivers and update the drivers for second monitor.

After performing the above steps, try to set the screen saver and check if it helps.

Dual monitor, Dual mouse??

Please share this information to assist you better.

• How have you setup dual monitors?
• Are you referring to use 2 different mouse/keyboard with the dual monitor setup?

If yes, the mouse or keyboard may function same as one another. Since, it has to be connected to single PC/tower.

However, setting up 2 different mouse/keyboard with the Dual- monitor setup, it may not function separately for each monitor.
