Windows 10: HELP! WIN 10 PRO Im trying to restore! The system is there but not configured.

After corrupted driver install, I got the dreaded blue screen. Tried everything. Media tool, ISO. Microsoft could only help so much unless I shelled out some money. I am able to get to the CMD and the C drive by using CTRL + ALT Delete=run new task. But I dont know what to do next to get my system back in order or how to even get a desktop. It looks like My pages are in space with a black background and no taskbar. Any suggestions???

Win 10 System Restore.

Hello,

We appreciate your time and effort for getting back to us and I apologize for the delay in responding.

Are you able to see the System Restore tab or are you are able to access the System Restore by clicking on the System Restore tab?

I suggest you to follow the steps to turn on System Restore:

1. Press Windows + Pause Break key from your keyboard.

2. Select the option System Configuration from the left side of the page.

3. Now click on the Configure tab.

4. Check the Turn on System Protection box, Click
Apply and ok.

Now restart your PC and perform the same steps to perform system restore and check if issue gets resolved.

Also let us know if you able to view the System Restore tab
as shown in the screen shot:

Trying to upgrade to Win 10 Pro

I have Win 10 Home on my Lenovo laptop. I bought a Win 10 Pro For OEM software pack to upgrade to Win 10 Pro but my system didn’t accept the 25 character prod key. What should I do?

I’m trying to install the upgrade via DVD (which came with the pack) but I noticed it said during the process that it would install Win 10 Home on my laptop but I already have that. Any suggestions ?
