    HELP - Windows 10 Boot Screen Freeze & Flicker


    Hi All,

    Having a really annoying problem on my computer..
    I start it up, and after I type the password in the computer just gets stuck and the screen just flickers and all I can see is some of the taskbar, I can move the mouse with the blue loading circle.
    it does this for about 6 minutes, then it starts.

    A very strange problem that just started happening randomly.
    Once I booted it also told me Intel graphics control panel cannot be found or something.. I couldn't load any apps..

    I have no idea what caused this issue either and worried its hardware related..

    I need this PC for work so not sure what to do..

    Any help would be appreciated..

    Hi Yasmeentq,

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    I understand your query. I suggest you to follow the steps to get out of safe mode.


    • Press Windows key + R

    • Type msconfig

    • In msconfig > Boot tab >
      Boot Options > uncheck Safe Boot > APPLY / OK.

    • What is the make and model of the computer?
    • Does that mean you are able to access the desktop and the issue with the boot has fixed?

    Screen flickering in Windows 10 safe mode

    I haven't made any changes on my device. This screen flickering is only happening in Safe Mode.
