Windows 10: Help . . Windows 10 upgrade and Error codes driving me crazy . . READ DETAILS FIRST PLEASE

BEFORE SHOOTING A GENERIC MICROSOFT ANSWER TO ME . . .PLEASE READ THE DETAILS AND STEPS THAT I HAVE ALREADY DONE!


Okay . . .So here is whats going on. I have the following system and os:

I have the same 4 Upgrade errors trying to download all day and every day with Windows 10 Upgrade Assistant and its driving me crazy because it never is successful. Here are the 4 errors with the Upgrade:


2018-04 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB409319) - Error 0x8007010b

Feature Update to Windows 10, Version 1803 - Error 0x8007007e

Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB4033631) - Error 0x8007010b
Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB4049411) - Error 0x8007010b


So Here is what I have done and these are the problems I run into:

• I have Upgraded my Bios to the latest version I have found for my PC model - Went smoothly and done

• When I reboot my computer and at Startup I always receive the following message and error:
  • "epowertray.exe. application error. The application was unable to start correctly (0xc150004)"
  • This error does not seem to be making my computer run any differently, but its always there and super annoying

• I went to Windows Microsoft and did a Windows 10 Start Fresh with Clean version of Windows 10 process from the following link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10startfresh
  • Following all steps (I even selected DO NOT KEEP because I just wanted to clean up and start over)
  • YES I HAVE ALL MY PERSONAL FILES SAVED OFF MY LAPTOP
  • The steps that were completed
    • Downloading Windows 10 (Check)
    • Download in Progess (Check)
    • Verifying your Download (Check)
    • Creating Windows 10 Media (Failed) and received the following message and error:
      • "The File 'autorun.dll' could not be loaded or is corrupt. Setup cannot continue. Error code is [0x36B3]"

Now i have gotten this error code before, and I know that from doing other Microsoft Community help searches that you can try to find the corrupt files by doing a Command Prompt System Scan. Thus my next steps:

• Open up Command Prompt as Administrator and entered: sfc /scannow
• Got the following message: "Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service"

So and then after much more Microsoft Community help searches I found these steps to try. Thus my next steps:

• Open up Command Prompt as Administrator and entered: Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
• Got the following:

So here I am stuck at this point . . My PC is always running windows update assistant and trying to download the Failed Windows updates . . Super Annoying. Help.

Windows 10 will not activate Error code 0x803F7001


Possibly there can be the problem with Microsoft activation Server, so your Windows 10 is not activated. In this scenario, you need to wait and verify if it is the issue from Microsoft’s side. But if you are getting error code 0x803f7001, you can also try these steps:

1. Open Settings app. Then go to Update and security > Activation screen > Change product.
2. Type your Windows edition product key and click Next.
3. You’ll get We couldn’t activate Windows error message.
4. Retry steps 1-3 then type your 25-characters unique product key.
5. Wait for the process to complete, Windows 10 is activated.

I activated my Windows 10 from product key Windows 7
