  1. HELP! Windows 11 not recognizing most Apple photos when transferring with usb cable

My new Windows 11 laptop is not recognizing many of my Apple photos that I’m trying to transfer via a USB cable. There are various errors in Windows 11. For example, when transferring photos from my iPad/iphone it will prompt different messages such as “pan error message saying “wrong type” even though it’s a normal jpg. Windows 11 will also renumber photos so when I go to transfer more photos it says they are duplicates but they aren’t. I’ll try to slide or copy and paste 10 pictures at a time but only 3 come into my photos folder on windows 11. No matter how I try to bring over the photos

    :)

  2. Laptop does not recognize USB flash drives or transfer cable

My laptop does not recognize USB flash drives, external drives, or my data/transfer cable. Problem discovered when I needed to move files from this laptop to another and nothing worked. USB mouse (wired or wireless) works though.

When I plug in a flash drive, it detects it, but lists it under "Other devices" in Device Manager. Device Manager will show all USB drives and the transfer cable under the Other Devices menu. When I right click the item to view the error message, it says "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)"

If I try to Update Driver, it tells me it is unable to find or install any drivers (Windows is unable to find any drivers for your device).

OS: Windows 10 (latest updates installed)
    Laptop: Dell

i want to transfer photos to usb device

    Hi Pedro,

There are many ways to download or transfer photos to your USB device. The best and easy way is to copy and paste the photos to USB. Just select the photos, right-click on it and select copy. Navigate to your USB device and check
the location where you want it to move, right-click it and then select paste.

To better assist you, please clarify the following:

    • Were you able to check if the USB is being recognized by your computer?
    • Have you tried connecting your USB to a different port?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
    • Does the same issue happen on other devices?
    • Have you tried using a different USB on your device?

  4. HELP! Windows 11 not recognizing most Apple photos when transferring with usb cable

Transferring Photos from iPhone7 with IOS 11 to PC with Windows 10

    • I took 3 photos with my phone and tried to send them to my PC.

I downloaded the photos from iCloud to my PC using a USB cable, but then I could not find the pics after searching every link and folder.

So I went to the multicolored photos app on my iphone, checked the photos and mailed them to myself with the intent of copying them to the desktop or storing them in my pics or download folder.

The files are jpegs but when I saved them to my desktop, so I could attach them to an email message, it did not work.

The pics were stored in html, only option; and I have a big Google icon as a shortcut.

So........I have three pics in an email message but I can't drag them anywhere else.

How can I convert them or take a pic to be stored in the same manner if I saw a pic online and right clicked to save?

I want to move them from the iPhone to an email message.

I want to use them as an attachment ( jpeg? ) but ideally I would like to post the pic in my email so it occupies a larger area that does not need expanding like a jpeg photo.

      Any suggestions?

      Thanks,

      Raymond
