Windows 10: [help] windows is being slow when leave it for long time for something !!

Hi, i will very very thanks to who can helped this issue :


My PC running chrome , firefox , premiere pro, some games, and more thing!

Its run with nice fps and performance!


but when i use the apps for longer time 30min++

the app performance is still good!


but when i close the apps


my windows , start menu, file explorer , search bar, everything

is being slow , very very unresponsive


my start become delayed for 2 seconds - 5 seconds for launch up



is there anything i can do ??



there is no issue with in software performance

its just my windows explorer.exe maybe performance

Win10 Slow boot time. Help debug with Windows Performance Analyzer

Hi,

I think that the issue is caused by the "Generic HDD SCSI Disk Device" driver





you have 8 disk drive attached to your computer:

1. Samsung SSD 860 EVO 500GB
2. Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB
3. ST4000DM004-2CV104
4. TOSHIBA DT01ACA200
5. WDC WD20EARX-008FB0
6. Generic HDD SCSI Disk Device
7. Seagate BUP BK SCSI Disk Device
8. Kingston DT Elite G2 USB Device

I would suggest you uninstall the Generic driver from the device manager;

• Open device manager and display the hidden devices;
• Generic "HDD SCSI Disk Device" under disk driver and uninstall it.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Extremely slow Windows Explorer. Please help.


Hello - there's solution posted here - but cannot say if it works totally yet though but it has helped me just now. Hope it helps you too. Save any work open first, before you do this.

Step by step guide:
1. Hold Win+r to open run
2. Type msconfig and hit ok or enter
3. Click Services
4. Navigate to Windows search (you can sort the list in descending alphabetical order)
5. Uncheck tickbox
6. Click apply then ok
7. Select to restart now

Hope this works for you.

-- Your system will need a restart when it reconfigures itself so save any work first. I tried this myself and it ran slow first time while it indexed slow directories - then after I closed file explorer and reloaded it it ran fast on slow directories. I hope it helps you.
