Windows 10: Help with Event 4101

just noticed i have issue with the display driver every since i play only specific games like Black Desert Online or Call of Duty World at War and i don't have any issue with other games only these two games keep freezing and getting black screens that mostly ended up freezing my whole pc and i had to hold the power button to turn it off/on again

i did reinstall the video card driver from safe mode and still the same issue so please help and sorry for my english



my spec is core i7 6700 , 32gb ram , gtx980ti idk if this help with anything or no

Warning Event ID 4101


Hi TenForumers.
Few days ago I found some strange warnings concerning the display driver (event ID 4101):
"Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered".
After trying this and that with no avail, I noticed these warning were raised when I was using my Internet browser (Firefox):
sometimes my browsing experience suffered of occasional "blocks" of 1-2 secs (with a Warning 4101 coming out in my event viewer).
I turned off hardware acceleration on my browser's settings page and I eventually got rid of those warnings.

I'm writing this post hoping it could be useful to someone with the same problem.

I followed the steps as suggested, but unfortunately, the issue continues to occur, with the same errors in the event log as I first described. I would appreciate any additional suggestions.

Having the same exact issue in bf1, second monitor goes dark then game freezes.
