    Help with Event ID 79 App Model runtime


    I have just built a new computer with Gigabyte B560/intel 11500/WIn 10. Using IE 11 to run office program. It intermittently hangs. Logging out and in solves the problem but may recur. 0x3D55: Package family MICROSOFT.WINDOWSCALCULATOR_8WEKYB3D8BBWE runtime information is corrupted. Attempting to correct the issue.Please help. Would reinstalling Win 10 again help?

    Event id 10016 runtime broker

    This ClassID and AppID are for the RuntimeBroker which is used to manage Windows Store apps; specifically monitoring access to APIs and security checks. So ignoring this isn't necessarily the best thing to do.

    I had another DCOM error related to the NVidia video card which was killing applications. That ClassID/AppID combination was used in the example to fix the issue here: Event ID 10016 - DistributedCOM

    To fix this specific problem. Follow the same steps with one exception: instead of looking for the AppID in DCOM list, look for the application name (RuntimeBroker) directly, since it is there.

    Windows 10 error id 69 app model runtime (photos)

    Thanks to Joy Kemprai's MS support & all!

    Event id 69 Error level: Failed with 0x490 modifying AppModel Runtime status..... caused following Ms Store app access in my case,

    successfully corrected by the simple command Press Windows + R
    and type wsreset.
