Windows 10: Help with File Explorer Windows 11

I'm Kathleen.I have somewhat the same questions as Cindy. I have left feedback in the Hub.At opening, File Explorer has a Desktop folder as the top folder. What was this folder called previously?There is a Desktop folder under my named folder.Both 'Desktop' folders seem to include the exact same files and folders. Why are there two?If I click the This PC folder, it does only show drives and devices.And, finally, I see all folders/locations listed twice under the folder I've called KATHLEEN ... The paths all point to the same C:/users...Please explain or guide me to a helpful document to unders

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

I suggest you to reset Explorer.exe and check if it helps. You may follow the steps below.

    Right click on the taskbar and select task manager.
    
  • 
    In the process Right click on windows explorer and end the task
    
  • 
    Restart the task by clicking on the file and select new task
    
  • 
    Type Explorer.exe and press enter.
    

If issue still persists, I suggest you to reset Internet Explorer and verify the result.
