Windows 10: Help with frustrating scanner-copier issue.

This is an HP ENVY 5530 All-in-One Printer, Copier, Scanner. Until a few days ago all functions worked smoothly. Suddenly, while I can still print from the computer or the Internet, both the scan and the copy functions do not respond. The HP Smart app and the Windows troubleshooter find nothing amiss. I have re-installed the printer driver software, to no avail. I suspect that the scanner camera that moves across the page and back may be literally "stuck." Does that sound reasonable? If so or if not any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Epson WF-3540 printer and copier works, but cannot access the scanner at all

Just updated from Windows 7 to the new Windows 10. Have a Epson WF-3540 All-in-One printer/scanner/copier. After the update the printer and copier works, but cannot access the scanner at all. Any help would be appreciated.

To get better clarity on the issue, kindly answer the questions below:

• Is the scanner detected under Devices?
• Were you able to see the scanner on the Device Manager?
• Have you installed the latest driver for the scanner?

We suggest you to run the troubleshooter for hardware and devices. To do this, follow the steps:

• On the Start menu, type Troubleshooting and hit enter.
• Choose Hardware and Sound.
• Select Hardware and Devices and run the troubleshooter.

If issue persists, we suggest you contact the manufacturer to get better assistance.

[WTB]   Good Printer/FAX/Scanner Any idea'a

I've had one listed in my "Other Stuff" thread forever for a good amount off retail. I own 2 of them personally and use them daily. Wired Ethernet, Wireless G, USB, printer/scanner/copier. Just isn't a fax.
