Windows 10: Help with games issues! CPU usage drops along with my fps when playing games.

As the title suggest, i'm having issues with pretty much every game i have, i've tried pretty much everything, disabled GameDVR and game mode in setting and from regedit, cpu temperatures are fine the highest was 68°, i even updated my drivers 2 days ago and nothing fixed, but i noticed in MSI afterburner that when the fps drops comes in, the CPU usage drops too 6% was the minimum and i don't know what could be making that, i don't have malware nor adware, plenty of free space in my hdd's, and there doesn't seem to be any background task running, so i don't know what is it. Can you help me?

CPU and GPU usage high, fps drop on games

Hi. I usually have around 100fps at Player Unknown Battlegrounds and my CPU usage is normal. From a month or so I get fps drops like 50-100fps and game feels laggy.

Also, when I open the task manager the CPU and GPU usage is really high around 90, 80% and then suddently drops to normal values like 5%.

I checked igfxupdate.exe Windows process - What is it? but it doesn't resolve it.

I noticed that a service svhost is very high on usage, what can I do?

FPS drops suddenly in games

Since nearly 2 months I've been experiencing issues while gaming.

While playing CSGO at 48 fps(capped there tho) the framerate sometimes drops from 48 to 5-6 ingame for nearly 2 to 3 minutes thus making th game unplayable during that time. It happens every 10 to 15 minutes and is so frustrating. Mostly during the drops
the cpu usage goes down from nearly 40% to 17% and the bottom of my laptop is hot. I tried turning off CPU throttling but it was of no use.Not only CSGO, it happens in all of the games that I play.

HP-15da0447tx

I3-7200U @ 2.30GHz

8GB Ram

Nvidia-MX130(2GB VRAM)

 

Permanent FPS drop in all games.

Hi,

Outdated drivers, CPU-intensive processes running in the background, virus and malware infection, and CPU throttling are reasons for a sudden FPS drop when playing games.

For us to properly isolate the issue and provide a suitable resolution, we would like to know the following:

• When was the last time you have installed the latest drivers on your computer as well as the latest game updates?
• Have you checked the CPU temperature while playing games?
• When was the last time you have cleaned your laptop?
• When was the last time you run a full scan on your laptop to check for virus and malware?
