Windows 10: Help with new monitor!

Just connected this Philips 276E9 monitor via hdmi to my rx580 GPU my other monitor is currently connected through dvi ( awaiting DP cable) shortly after connecting them this small transparent box showed up only on my new monitor. there is no X or arrow or any way of clicking it. and is there as soon as windows starts up. even with just the new monitor connected directly to GPU with hdmi (no dual) its still there. is it an overlay from a random app? if so why wouldn't it show up on my old monitor when plugged into the same solo set up. hope this isn't too confusing and appreciate all the help!

Trouble with 2 monitors

I suggest you to change the settings to Extended Monitor and check if it helps.

Please follow below steps:

• Right Click any ware of the Desktop, and launch Personalization.
• Go to dual monitor settings under personalization, and change it Extended Monitor.
