Discus and support help with playing a Picture CD ( Beige Book Standard, 1992) in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; I need help playing back this Compact Disc Photo (Beige Standard, 1992) this release Windows is only showing the 3 audio files like it is a regular CD...     Since I have installed windows 10 on my PC I can no longer play CD's or look at pictures on my cd's

    Audio CD's not playing

    I have a self-built comfuser w/an ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 motherboard, using the onboard audio & running 10 Pro 64Bit.

    When I put either a CD/DVD in my optical drive, I don't have any problems reading documents, opening pictures & videos or starting .exe files, but for some reason audio files will not play.
    I'll put an audio CD/CD-R into the drive & iTunes WILL start, but none of the songs will play. I'll open VLC, but still no songs will play.

    I may have to crack open the case to check the wires. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should check software-wise?
